                             married since 1979, two children

Education:       German Law Degree (successfully completed the first State Exam), 
                             University of  Bonn, 1979

Professional Activity:

1998 - Present     a local radiostation in Cologne
                             Editor (Team Leader Desk and "News Magazine", Level manager 

                             - As acting department manager (presiding during one seven-day-shift 
                             per month), I supervise the entire program schedule of the editorial staff and 
                             ensure that the editors realize their duties promptly during the course of the 
                             day. Performing this function, I am, after the head of the station, the highest 
                             decision maker in all questions relating to the broadcast station.

                             - My responsibilities include the Editorial Desk. This body, composed of 
                             four experienced editors, is responsible for the entire coordination of daily 
                             program scheduling. It has to ensure that the planned programming reflects the 
                             latest developements.

                             - My responsibilities include as well the "Nachrichtenmagazin/News 
                             Magazine" program, whose three editors, together with collegues from 
                             the "Nachrichten/News" programm, integrate recorded sound-clips into 
                             the broadcast news 8 times a day.

                             - It is my duty allocate and schedule the work hours of freelance 
                             production assistants.

                             - As a member of the management level, I am involved in the 
                              conceptualization of  the future program selection of the broadcast station.

1998                     During 7 months I served as provisional manager of  "Information 
                             and Opinion" program group.

1994 - 1997         Editor, moderator and commentator in the political program section.
